Welcome to Fieldstone Acres Alpacas
The Matis Family welcomes you to explore Fieldstone Acres Alpacas! Named simply for the flat type of stones found throughout the fields. We are located in Orange County Virginia between Culpeper and Fredericksburg, VA. We started our herd in the fall of 2007 and are having a great time with our little Farm. We now have six girls, two cria’s, three herd sires and two Guard Llamas. We look forward to years of creating a herd that raises the standards in both Fiber and animal Husbandry. We have bloodlines from Snowmass and even have a 5Peruvian Black Ice grandson. We are focusing our breeding program using Pure Peruvian bloodlines while maintaining and creating as much color as possible. We have a lot of work to do, but are off to a good start with our most recent Crias.
